Imagine climbing on your bicycle in Bloomington, and riding from the  B-Line to Ellettsville for coffee and scones, McCormick’s Creek State Park for hiking & swimming, Spencer for early dinner, and then back. Or you can start in Spencer and complete the journey in the other direction.​ McCormick's Creek State Park's Canyon Inn can provide a homebase for a weekend cycling tour.

But why stop there? With cooperation and determination, we could connect with the inspirational Monon South project that reaches the Ohio River. Also, once we have proven the vitality of connecting communities with one state park, we can start thinking about other nearby state parks, i.e., Brown County and Spring Mill.
